It amazes me how our life experiences connect us to opportunities that will enable us to really help people.
How many times have we visited the ER for a simple test and waited for what seemed like an eternity? Or have been judged because you presented for a UTI or STD check.
ER tests are expensive -- and most people believe that when visiting county or city hospitals if they do not have insurance, they will not get billed for the visit.
This is incorrect information: you will receive a hospital bill and lab costs; the physician's bill alone is usually at least $1,000 or more. And, if you are employed and not responsible for paying the bill, your wages may be garnished.
I wish I had known about this years ago -- and saved myself, my family, and my friends from so much wasted time and expense.
